School Council
Hello, we are the School Council and we were elected by our classmates to fulfil a very important role in our School. Each class in Key Stage Two has a School Council representative who attends regular meetings. We are responsible for fundraising in school and we plan and deliver assemblies to inform children about upcoming charity events like Children in Need and Comic Relief.
We also help out on the day of these events by supervising activities to ensure that everyone has a fantastic day and that we raise as much money as possible for charity. Recently, we were in charge of collecting items for the Rotary Shoebox Appeal and we also visited Zoe’s Place to deliver a cheque from money raised in school.
As well as this, we have formed links with Redcar and Cleveland Council through our litter picking initiative which involves us keeping our school and local community clean. Another important role we have is to respond to pupil voice surveys and work together to make positive changes in our school.
