Wrap Around Care

Whale Hill Breakfast and after school Stay and Play form the basis of our very popular wrap around care. These child-care services are available during term time to all children attending Whale Hill Primary.

Breakfast Club: 8.00 a.m. to 8.40 a.m.
The children are offered the choice of a variety of cereals, bagels and toast, along with a refreshing cup of apple/orange juice, milk or water.

Breakfast Club takes place in the main school hall. We offer children high quality care in a fun environment. Breakfast Club is managed by our support staff and so all the adults are highly trained and know the children well. We can also cater for individual needs or specific dietary requirements. After children are served a healthy breakfast, they are taken safely to their classes.

Prices: £3 per child/per day or £14 per child/per week.

Stay and Play: 3.10 p.m. to 5.15 p.m.
Children are provided with quality care, by members of our highly trained support staff, in a rich and fun learning environment. Children can participate in a range of planned activities that include; baking, crafts, toys, electronic games and outdoor play. Refreshments are also provided. Every Friday, the children enjoy ‘Movie Night’ watching one of their favourite films whilst enjoying a special snack.

Prices: £6.50 (for your first child) per day or £30 per child per week.  A discount will be given for younger siblings.

Breakfast Club and Stay and Play must be booked one week in advance via Parent Mail to avoid disappointment.   Forms are sent out on Parent Mail the Monday of the week before and a payment request will be sent on a Thursday after the booking form has closed.  Unfortunately, due to insurance purposes, we are limited to how many children can attend (if it is your child’s first time, please complete a registration form).
